A night in Tijuana, Mexico

Never in the next 5 years would I even guess that Mexico would be a travel destination for me. But since Tijuana was so close to the USA border and San Diego is shockingly more expensive than that rest of California, we decided to spend the night there and check out Mexico!

Checked out the night and day scene at Avenida Revolucion which was close by to our hotel (5 min cheap taxi ride). I love that there was street food selling tacos at almost even crossroads. Bought a leather wristbands for keepsake (USD$2) and had Caesars salad at the restaurant where it originated from! Never knew it was from here and created by an Italian immigrant. Before leaving we had really tasty fish & shrimp tacos recommended by one of the shop owners we met while souveneir shopping.

The experience in Tijuana was definitely different compared to traveling in the USA and like I said in my previous post, my favourite part was trying the authentic Mexican food and how everything is much cheaper than compared to the US.
