My family went out to dinner last week to celebrate Dad's 54th birthday. Mom and I bought him a fountain pen from Cityluxe. We headed to Esmirada at Orchard hotel and I was so happy to know it's a mediterranean restaurant and they serve tapas!! :) My parents love tapas too cos it reminds us of the awesome meals we enjoyed in Spain last year. The lighting at Esmirada was a little too dim for my liking though. Nevertheless, the food was sooooo good.
At 9pm, music started playing and plates were handed to every table for customers to throw onto the ground. I was so happy because I've always wanted to throw things and then NOT clear up. I remember watching this Hong Kong tv show; whenever the characters in the show are having a bad day, they would visit a place where they could throw plates at the wall to vent their anger. That's great anger management. I would love to have such a place to go to.
Also, I have a lot of respect for food bloggers. When delicious food is served, how are they able to resist digging in immediately and instead take snapshots of the food? Next time, I'm just gonna start stuffing my face with the feast in front of me.
