I would have to say that the 2 hours we have between lessons on Tuesdays has got to be my favourite break of the week because that time is the day is definitely the best to explore London. The sun is out, the streets aren't bustling with people (yet) and shops have just opened.
Even though I work there, Covent Garden will never be mundane or boring and there's always an area nearby I'll discover for the first time upon visits there. It's one of my favourite places in London with little cute cafes that are on my endless list of places to try.
I would have a cup of mocha everyday if I could, it just seems imperative to get a hot drink in this chilly weather. I long for spring to arrive!!
Met Dean for lunch at Shoreditch and we managed to explore more of east London; walking towards Bricklane and passing by Spitalfields market which turns out to be an over-priced version of Singapore's far east mall. There are some pretty good restaurants there which I'd like to try though.
The place we went to at Shoreditch was Pizza East and it seemed to have many good reviews online. Didn't regret my choice at all, the pizza wasn't too huge and it was soooo tasty. Mine was pork and potato pizza (it's less fattening than it sounds, I think).
YUMMM
The next time I'll be snapping photos will be in Barcelona! We leave Monday morning and we'll be back by Wednesday evening, in time for my french class. The coming week is going to be insane, I can't believe I have 3 consecutive shifts next weekend. What a hectic schedule, not to mention coffee catchups to plan.
