Woke up on Saturday the eve of Chinese New Year to Whatsapps full of CNY wishes from my loved ones. To make me feel more homesick than ever, all social media platforms were filled with reunion dinner photos and CNY clothing. I managed to skype with my adorable baby cousin :')!
The first thing she said was 'Gong xi fa cai, hong bao na lai' hahahahah awww SHO CUTE.
Thankfully we were going to celebrate CNY in our flat! Our first stop was the asian supermarket near elephant and castle which pretty much had everything we wanted! Love it. Definitely going back this coming week.

That was a pretty great night! The hours of preparation actually paid off, that says a lot coming from me who doesn't enjoy spending much time cooking and preparing.
