We got to know Kelli through her dad when we met him at the casino (his workplace) at Atlantic City last September.
Kelli and Laura have been in Thailand for the past 5 months on work attachment and they decided to visit Singapore on one random weekend. So Sheena and I brought them around town when they arrived.
This is how I spent the last weekend in February. Their plane touched down at 10pm on Friday night so we met them immediately after they checked into their hotel and got ready. First stop of Singapore: Clarke Quay.

Drank at Hooters, drank at Le Noir, drank at Attica.

At Le Noir VIP area, thanks to the DJ.

Me, Kelli, Laura and Sheena. That night was so much fun! One hell of a night, and there were sooo many drunkards lying around Clarke Quay after dark.

So they suggested we all take photos with the drunk dudes.

Another one.

Laura wanted a ride on the trishaw (for free, I think). Or maybe just a photo of her on it.
Next day (with a hangover): brought them around Orchard road. We walked from Dhoby Ghaut to Ion, passing by the Istana, Centrepoint, 313, H&M, Ngee Ann City and Lucky Plaza.

We let them try bak kwa and they loved it!

Sheena brought them to Maxwell for lunch, while I left for driving lessons. I almost fell asleep while driving cos I was surviving on 4 hours of sleep from the previous night.

Met them after my lesson at MBS

Casino:

Sheena waited outside for them cos locals have to pay a $100 entrance fee (what a dumb law).

The view is just amazing, I love MBS.
Travelled all the way to Serangoon to have crabs at House of Seafood
Ordered the chilli crab
and salted egg crab (YUM)
Then we walked to Chomp Chomp (we just kept eating and eating).

We ordered stingray, carrot cake, sugar cane drinks, hokkien mee, satay and more satay!
DINNER WAS SO GOOD! I'm glad they enjoyed the food too.
They cabbed back to the hotel from Chomps while me and Sheena made our way back home, to get ready for the night! We wanted to bring em to Timbre but obviously there wasn't enough time, so Sheena brought her Grey Goose and we met them at their hotel for pre-drinks.
Cabbed to ZOUK (oh how long it's been since I last went)

My face is almost as red as that girl's hair

Velvet to Zouk to Phuture to Winebar. Then Sheena wanted to go to Arena at Clarke Quay and so we went..
I was so exhausted I left shortly after reaching Arena.
Woke up for church the next morning, somebody needs to hand me a trophy for this achievement.
Didn't have the time (and I was literally unable to keep awake) to send Laura and Kelli off at the airport at 2pm on Sunday. Sheena wasn't able too either. They thought we would be meeting them so they bought us something to thank us for bringing them around but we weren't there to receive em awwwww. Nonetheless, I appreciate it and I truly had fun during the weekend. It was great to hear about their country and for us to tell them about ours. Although we were in Singapore, I sorta had a taste of America as well. They're so fun to hang around and so open to trying new food and going to places, such suitable travel buddies. When I go to USA next year for holiday (I hope), I'm definitely gonna try to meet up with them again.
A new month has started and so has my Cleo internship. This week is insane, I have plans every single evening after my internship, I lack sleep and I feel that my hair is dropping so much that I need Trichokare.
Just kidding. This week it's Monday: Tuition, Tuesday: NTU talentime and stayover, Wednesday: Revasseur, Thursday: Driving lessons and Friday: Tuition again.
INSANE!!!
But I'm having so much fun and I love being busy.
