New York Day 1

About 3 hours before I left the house for the airport, I was jumping and screaming with excitement at home because the day I was going to NYC had finally arrived. I was all packed and ready and couldn't sit still.

Felt can such a child lol.

Thanks Nadia, Gerard and Jane (and my mom of course) for sending me off! :)

Sat beside some Jap dude.
Loads of Japs on the plane cos I took all nippon airways, a Jap airline.
Prety good service and seats. And they constantly served hot green tea!

Drank a small bottle of this red wine.
I like that it made me sleepy so that I could get some rest.
An airplane (economy class) is not exactly a comfortable place to fall asleep.
Watch 4 movies in total for the entire trip to NYC :)

Transited at Tokyo

2 hour transit: Read a mag, ate sushi and drank milk tea. Food sucked tho. So disappointing.

Finally after a long 11 hour flight from Japan..

NEW YORK CITY

Georgina was there to meet me at JFK.

What a sweetheart.

Look how bad I look in the photo after an entire day spent in the air.

Had my 3 meals on the plane.

Spent 20over hours sitting on a chair.

I was so stiff from everything. Ughhh

But I love plane rides because of the movies and food.

She was so helpful with my luggage :)

We took the subway back to Manhattan.

My 3 week stay would be here. The apartment is awesome. Pics will be at the end of this post.

Really mini cupcakes/muffins by Baked by Melissa, a shop at Grand Central Station.

They're REALLY good.

A dollar for one :)

My first meal was at Juniors at Grand Central.

G took me there so I could try the best New York Cheesecake :)

and it is truly the best I've ever tasted.

Headed to her apt which is at Wall St stn

Her apt's really cute and cosy. Love the lounge area and sky deck.

The location is really good as well. Dunkin Donuts and Subway are just downstairs and she's near the Pier and Seaport

Ate Hotdogs by the Pier :D YUM

Cute chairs, no?

Pics of Trump World Towers

There are FREAKIN 90 floors!!!

Trump is a building full of glass so the apt has lots of windows.

It's glassy and fancy.

And I love how I can see the Krislar building when I look outside the window.

The view is especially pretty at night.

Facilities are good as well. There's a television attached to each exercise machine
There's also a computer available for anyone who wishes to surf the internet.

There's also an indoor pool which I have been using.

Really good.

I had no idea my cousin had this much booze (grey goose on the left)

People bring a bottle everytime she invites em over.

I guess it's polite to bring something (in this case, booze) to a dinner party/gathering

And she never drinks em!

They are left to rot

She even has Patron!

I'm not gonna let this go to waste. lol

Maybe Sheena/Georgina will help me.

Real sleepy now. Going uptown tmr before shopping around Penn then meeting Sheena!

Night everyone.

I love Manhattan..

Hello! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form? I'm using the same blog platform as yours and I'm having trouble finding one? Thanks a lot!
