London bound

Summer has been everything I planned and more. It has been really great to be back in Singapore to spend time with all my friends and family after a 3-week long road trip around America after term closed. Even though I didn't manage to find any job/internship (yikes), I would say the summer was pretty productive and a relaxing change from the hectic London lifestyle I had for the past year. Thank God for friends who make time for me, besides their busy schedule because they know I'm only in town for the summer only. I'm always surprise how time just flies by. "We're gonna be old and saggy before we know it."

My 13 hour flight (oh, help me) back to London is tonight and classes start on Monday. This new upcoming academic year means that this week draws a close to a whole year which has been a wonderful experience where I could grow as a person and become more independent. Moving into a new house with two of my friends will be one big change and I believe life will be so much more fun than living in halls. Besides, this time, we each have our own double beds and a rooftop terrace (hell yeah).
I find that I'm always excited for what the future awaits for me and I guess my positive spirit always hopes for the best. Leaving my loved ones behind this time isn't so bad because I know I'll be back during winter break in time for Christmas celebrations as well as the New Years. I'm glad I get to come home for Christmas this year because after all, it's a season to be with the family and be together with everyone again.

See you tomorrow, London. I've missed you.
