It's been a week since I got my new camera; Olympus XZ-1.
Getting this is one of the best decisions I've made this year.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT
It has awesome effects like pinhole, soft focus, diorama, pop art etc
And you can increase the shutter speed and adjust the brightness of the flash
When you wanna take multiple shots (for all camwhores out there), this Olympus will playback them as a gif for you.
HOW COOL IS THAT.
Okay, maybe this function has been around for a long time, but I only recently started researching on cameras cos I needed one.
IT fair at expo was last week. Went there twice but bought my camera from a family friend instead cos his shop was selling it cheaper.
I guess the only thing I don't like about it is that it's kinda big cos it's a semi-pro.
Beats a DSLR (gosh, carrying one around is so much trouble) but I still prefer my gadgets pretty and compact.
This is called an organised Clutter. Everything seems to be in a mess but I can easily find my stuff (most of the time)
This past week has been eventful
Friends in uni have finally finished exams so I met Fenni in town
We plan to bake cupcakes sometime this week :)

Note: If you happen to eat there, please don't take the Carbonara cos it's WAYYYY too salty. Like dead sea kinda 'salty'

Somehow the rain and thunderstorm affects my broadband internet connection. I think.
Rain = slow internet = cannot watch shows = :(
Anyway, Shaggy is a coward despite being 10years old already. He gets so terrified of a lil thunderstorm.
He's pushed down the barrier quite a few times already (notice fallen stool in the background) but this is the first I've seen of him taking comfort and 'finding peace' in lying on the damn thing.
He's so happy ON it. He still puzzles me sometimes.
But he's the cutest dog on earth and I love him even though I take no part in taking care of him!

It's almost 6am. I did go to bed at 1 but tossed and turned then gave up tossing and turning, so now I'm blogging.

I can be so physically exhausted but my mind is most awake at night (God knows why) so I'm having insomnia ughhhh kill me now.
My mind is racing. Not cool.
Wish I was like a Vampire so I could just switch it off.
Eh? No they can only switch off feelings, not thinking. K, bad reference.
Gonna find something else to do now
