As most of you know (thanks to Twitter, Facebook and my big mouth), I've managed to find a part-time job here in London within 2 months of arrival. After passing the 2 hour job trial and interview, I got the job at Karen Millen as a stylist on the sales floor. No doubt, I get to earn money and live more comfortably in this very expensive city, the experience I will gain over the duration of working for this upmarket brand will be amazing and be put to good use in my future career. And the best thing (not really beneficial to my wallet) is that I get to buy pieces from each season's collection at a greatly discounted price and wear it as staff uniform since we're 'brand ambassadors'. Get paid while wearing quality clothes? Yes, please.
