I was welcomed by my friends at the airport with a giant Singapore flag and a surprise welcome gathering at my house the same night I arrived back. I swear I have the sweetest friends in the whole wide world. They are so worth coming back for. The flight back wasn't so great considering Raied and I were stuck in Guangzhou for a night because of a flight delay. Nontheless, we made the best of it and had awesome China street food which thankfully was a short walking distance from our hotel. I'm not ready to travel around that place in the middle of the night.
Anyway, I'm back in Singapore and I am enjoying every minute of spending time with my friends/family, while hating every minute of the hot and humid weather. The walk from the taxi to my front door is already unbearable, and I am considering carrying a small fan around. Next week is filled with catchup lunches and I'm leaving for Penang on Thursday but will only be gone for 3 days. My last few days in US was good! San Fran and Seattle were my last 2 cities and by then we were quite tired from all that traveling so our itineraries were more relaxed. I will post up photo diaries of the US trip over the next few days.
